tired

28″Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

When I was in church this past Sunday, this scripture was read, and even though I have heard it many times before, it just spoke to me. Whatever I’m going through, I can just give it to Jesus, because he can handle anything I’ve got. I can go to him and find rest whenever I need it.

  1. I still find it amazing how faithful God is and yet we still feel like we can’t trust him… thanks for the reminder

  2. It’s funny to read that scripture when right at the moment I’m transitioning into the song, Come and Listen by David Crowder and going into Let Go by Barlow girl. This was and kind of is my theme verse…
Perfect timing on his part. Thanks Shane

  3. Hey Shane, Thanks for sharing that too is something I needed, since I started work it’s been late nights and some spiritual warfare for me but it’s just awesome how God is in Control. Anyways I’m coming back to Bethany Bible College in Sept, anyways I should probably get some sleep, got to go to work early tomorrow
